Usage Guidelines

  • For PSF
    • The value you specify for the output-bin attribute overrides any output bin specified in the form definition InfoPrint Manager uses to process the job.
    • If you specify different values for this attribute for each document in a job, and also specify a value for the document form-definition, InfoPrint Manager ignores this attribute and uses the output-bin value in the form definition.
    • This attribute is valid for ASCII documents in a job only if it is not changed between documents in the job.
    • For PSF, InfoPrint Manager validates and schedules jobs using this attribute against the output-bins-supported actual destination attribute, which InfoPrint sets according to the values supplied for the output-bin-numbers PSF actual destination attribute.
    • For PSF, InfoPrint Manager maps the value to an actual bin number using the actual destination attribute output-bin-numbers.
  • For CUPS
    • InfoPrint Manager maps the value to an output bin using the corresponding driver option set in the printer model configuration file. For more information, see "Mapping Attributes and Values to PPD Options" in the RICOH InfoPrint Manager for Linux: Getting Started guide.
