For PSF, specifies the resolution, in pels, at which the printer device should print this document.
For CUPS, specifies the resolution, usually in dpi, at which the printer device should print this document. InfoPrint Manager does not transform the data, it passes the corresponding driver option to the underlying printing system. Usage Guidelines
- For Email and PSF
- This attribute is valid only for GIF, JPEG, PCL, PDF, PostScript, and TIFF documents.
- This attribute applies only to image data. It has no effect on font resolutions.
- The InfoPrint 5000 series printers only support 360 and 720 resolutions. All other printer models do not support these resolutions.
- If a default-printer-document attribute is not set, the first value specified on the actual destination's printer-resolution-ready attribute will be used.
- If the printer-resolution-ready attribute is not set, the image transform uses the value specified in the transform configuration file, while the other transforms use the 300 resolution.
- For CUPS
- InfoPrint Manager maps the value to a resolution using the corresponding driver option set in the printer model configuration file. For more information, see "Mapping Attributes and Values to PPD Options" in RICOH InfoPrint Manager for Linux: Getting Started.
- InfoPrint Manager does not transform the data, it passes the corresponding driver option to the underlying printing system.
