Starting the InfoPrint Manager Management Interface

You have these basic methods of accessing the InfoPrint Manager Management Interface (IPMMI):

  1. Enter this command at the command prompt: 
    startipmmi
  2. On RedHat Enterprise Linux System, go to Applications ⇒ InfoPrint Manager and select Management Interface to start the Management Interface GUI.
  3. On SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, go to Computer ⇒ More Applications ⇒ InfoPrint Manager and select Management Interface to start the Management Interface GUI.
    Important:
  • To start InfoPrint Manager Management Interface, you must be logged in as the root user, or as the user running InfoPrint Manager. The environment variable that defines the user running InfoPrint Manager is $IPM_USER.
