PSF TCP/IP printer
Create a PSF actual destination to represent an Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS) printer. Use the TCP/IP attachment type for an IPDS printer that PSF controls directly through TCP/IP.

Wizard Prompt | Description | Value |

Name | The name for the actual destination object (64 character limit).
Note: This name is case-sensitive.

Server | The InfoPrint server that controls this actual destination. By default, the server name is the
same as the name of the system where the server is installed. Note: This name is case-sensitive.

Model | Select the printer model from the pull-down list in the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI. If the printer you are working with is not in the pull-down list, enter the name as it appears on the printer. | |
TCP/IP address | The IP address used to access this printer. | |
TCP/IP port | The port used by the printer for communication. The InfoPrint 1000 family of printers uses port 9100. Most other printers default to port 5001. The value you use here must match the value set at the printer. | |
Logical destination | The logical destination that directs jobs to this actual destination.

To create this type of printer, use the Create Printer Wizard in the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI. (On the menu bar, click Printer → Create → PSF → TCP/IP.)
