Submitting print jobs through the LPD from a Windows system

You can use any LPR client, but to be able to specify advanced InfoPrint options on the -o flag, you must make sure that your LPR client supports -o options. Sample code for an LPR client called lprafp is provided for download on the Ricoh Web site. To obtain and install this LPR client, see Install and configure lprafp for Windows from the Web.
Note: If you use another LPR client, make sure that you specify the flag for specifying binary data. For example, on the Microsoft TCP/IP Printing LPD (the default LPR on Windows operating systems), this flag is the —Ol or the —o l (lowercase L) option, depending upon your Windows operating system.
