Upgrading Linux print drivers with InfoPrint Manager for Linux Version 4.13

If you are installing InfoPrint Manager for Linux Version 4.13, you should upgrade your Linux drivers (PPD files for Linux) for these printers. For the most recent information, go to the Ricoh website at https://www.ricoh-usa.com/en/support-and-download and follow the instructions to download the resources you need.

These PPD files are referenced when you create either a Linux DSS printer or a PSF other-driver DSS printer through InfoPrint Manager and when you specify particular trays from which to pull paper using InfoPrint Manager attributes.

Note: If these printers are network-attached through the internal adapter, you might have to install the back end programs for the printers. For more information on the installation process, go to the RICOH Software Information Center at https://help.ricohsoftware.com/swinfocenter.

You can use these steps to access these PPD files from the Web:

  1. Go to the Ricoh website at https://www.ricoh-usa.com/en/support-and-download.
  2. Enter your product details in the Search for downloads box or select the appropriate category and subcategory in the Select to find downloads for your equipment field.
  3. Click on the Linux driver button.
  4. On the resulting Linux driver page, follow the instructions to download and install the driver files.

If this page displays a Readme File link, click it to find the directions.
