rc.pd utility: restarts servers in InfoPrint Manager for AIX or InfoPrint Manager for Linux

Syntax

rc.pd

Description

/etc/inittab on AIX (or a program called from /etc/inittab) invokes the rc.pd utility to automatically restart the InfoPrint servers listed in /etc/rc.pd.servers during a reboot. On Linux, systemd and systemctl invoke the rc.pd utility to automatically start or restart the InfoPrint servers listed in /etc/rc.pd.servers. As the administrator, you can edit the rc.pd.servers file using a text editor, such as vi. Edit this file to include a startsrv line for each server you want to start automatically.
