Installing and Updating RICOH Cloud Connector through the User Interface

You can install or update to a higher version of RICOH Cloud Connector from the Subscription page of RICOH Account Administration.
Before installing or updating RICOH Cloud Connector, download the installation package appropriate for your system and save it in a location where you have writing and execution permissions. For information about downloading RICOH Cloud Connector, see Downloading RICOH Cloud Connector
To install RICOH Cloud Connector,
  1. Double click the installation package that you downloaded.
    You see the RICOH Cloud Connector Installation dialog:
  2. Review all the legal terms and select I accept the terms of the license agreement.
  3. Verify that the install location is correct and you have write and execute permissions for it, then click INSTALL.
    During the installation you can see the installation progress displayed. Once the installation is complete, the RICOH Cloud Connector Setup page opens automatically. For information about setting up RICOH Cloud Connector, see Setting up RICOH Cloud Connector

To update RICOH Cloud Connector to the latest version,

  1. Download the installation package appropriate for your system and save it in a location where you have write and execute permissions.
  2. Double click the installation package that you downloaded. You see the RICOH Cloud Connector Update dialog:
  3. Revise the information about the RICOH Cloud Connector current version and the update, then click UPDATE.
    Note:
  • If you are updating RICOH Cloud Connector, the previous RICOH Cloud Connector setup details are imported and the Setup page is not displayed.
  • The RICOH Cloud Connector service is installed or updated and it starts automatically after each successful installation, update or system restart.
