Operation Workflow of Colorimetry

Print the chart for colorimetry on the printer to be adjusted for colors, and scan the chart on the machine to measure its colors. Save the measurement result in IT8 or CGATS TXT format. Load this file in a color management app or other application, and use it to manage the color quality of a printer.

    Note:
  • You can select a chart from the list of charts for colorimetry that are commonly used, but you can also specify the paper size and color boxes to create a new chart for colorimetry.

  1. Start Colorimetry and register a chart for colorimetry.Registering a chart for colorimetry
      Note:
    • You can also select one of the charts for colorimetry that are already registered.
  2. Print the chart for colorimetry on the printer that you will measure.Printing the chart for colorimetry
  3. In Colorimetry, specify the measurement conditions, the save location of the measurement result, and other settings.
  4. On the machine, scan the chart for colorimetry that is printed.Scanning the chart for colorimetry
  5. Manage the measurement results on your computer.
