Colorimetry

Allows you to use a predefined or create a custom color chart to measure the colors on a printed test chart. You can use the custom color charts as custom color spaces for verifying the calibration results. You can also save the measurement results and manage them with an external color management application.

  1. Operation Workflow of Colorimetry
    Print the chart for colorimetry on the printer whose colors you want to adjust, and use the scanner to scan the chart for measuring its colors. Save the measurement result in IT8 or CGATS TXT format. Load this file in a color management app or other application, and use it to manage the color quality of a printer.
  2. Using the Colorimetry Function
    Use the Colorimetry function to measure the colors on a printed test chart with the help of a predefined or custom color chart.
  3. Troubleshooting Colorimetry Errors
    If the Colorimetry dialog is not displayed and you do not receive any message when you select Colorimetry in the application menu, close the application. Then restart your operating system. If you still cannot open the Colorimetry dialog, contact your service representative.
