Color Sample Matching

Color sample matching creates a profile based on the printed color sample that you scanned. Register the created profile as the CMYK input (source) profile on the DFE, then use the profile when printing a document.

Use the created profile to reproduce the color tone of the color sample on the printed page as closely as possible.

    Scan or load a color sample, then scan the test print of a document (PDF) on the machine. Afterwards, compare and match their colors using Color Sample Matching. Use the ICC profile generated by the color matching process to print the document in colors approximating the colors of the color sample as closely as possible.
