Specifying your language for the InfoPrint Manager server with a Windows Multi-Language Version system
- On the system that your InfoPrint Manager Server runs on, open the InfoPrint Manager Management Console and select .Note: To start the InfoPrint Manager Management Console, open the Start menu and click .
- Set up a new domain user account that the InfoPrint Manager service will run under:
- Log on to the domain that InfoPrint Manager operates in as a domain administrator.
- Use User Manager for Domains to create a domain user account that InfoPrint Manager will run under. Important: Make the user a member of the Domain Administrators group and change the user's primary group from Domain Users to Domain Administrators. It is recommended that you select Password never expires so you do not have to change the password and update all of your servers on a regular basis.
- Give the domain user these user rights: Act as part of the operating system, Create permanent shared objects, and Log on as a service.
- Log off the domain.
- Grant the same user rights to the new domain user on the system that InfoPrint Manager is installed on:
- Log on the system that the InfoPrint Manager is installed on as a user who is a member of the Domain Administrators group.
- Use the local User Manager to give the domain user that you created in step 2 these user rights on that system: Act as part of the operating system, Create permanent shared objects, and Log on as a service.
- Log off the system.
- Change the regional settings for the new domain user to the appropriate language:
- Log on the system as the domain user you created above.
- Select .
- Double-click Regional Settings.
- Select the appropriate language.
- Click OK.
- Log off the system.
- Log on as a user who is a member of the Administrators group for that system and complete these steps:
- Open the InfoPrint Manager Management Console and select .
- Enter the name of the domain that the InfoPrint Manager is installed on and the user name and password from above.
- Click OK.
- On the system that your InfoPrint Manager Server runs on, open the InfoPrint Manager Management Console and select .
