Backup/Restore/Log
Use this screen to contact your service representative if a problem occurs on the
machine, change the settings in Machine Settings or Initial Settings, replace the
computer connected to the machine, or perform other operations.
Setting Item | Description |

Log Collection | You might need to check the log when contacting your service representative if a problem occurs on the machine, or in other instances. Click Start Collection to start collecting log entries. |
Back Up Apps | Creates a backup of the settings on the computer that you are using. Select this item
when you are replacing the computer that is connected to the machine. Click Back Up to specify the location to store the data.
It is recommended to create a backup also when you are changing the settings in Machine Settings or Initial Settings. |
Restore Apps | Restores the setting information on the new computer. Select this item after you replace the computer that is connected to the machine. Click Browse... to select the backup file, and then click Start. |
