Specifying the SYSPRINT DD statement
The host server program records its configuration settings and information about errors in the data set referenced by the SYSPRINT DD statement. You must include a SYSPRINT DD statement in the JCL statements that run the host server program.
If the SYSPRINT DD statement refers to a data set other than SYSOUT or DUMMY, the data set must have the following attributes:
- directory blocks:
- 0
- record format:
- VA
- record length:
- 125
- block size:
- 129
