Restoring the Application Settings

This section explains how to restore the settings of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster if you have a previously created backup file.
    Note:
  • You can restore a backup on a 1.4.x.x version of the application only if that backup was created with a 1.4.x.x version of the application.
To restore the application settings:
  1. If the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster application is not displayed, double-click the RICOH desktop icon (RICOH icon) to start it.
  2. In the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster dialog, select the Settings button (Settings button).
  3. In the left pane of the Settings dialog, select Backup/Restore/Log.
  4. Select Browse and select the saved backup file.
  5. Select Open.
  6. In the Settings dialog, select Start.
  7. If the restore is successful, you see a message that you must restart the application. Select OK.
  8. If the restore fails, you see an error message indicating why the process failed. To correct the problem, follow the instructions in the message.
  9. Close the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster, then start it again.
      Important:
    • The restore takes effect only after you restart the application.
