Restoring the Application Settings

This section explains how to restore the settings of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster if you have a previously created backup file.
    Note:
  • You can restore a backup of the application settings only if that backup was created with the same version of the application. For example, you can restore a backup to a 1.5.0.0 version of the application only if that backup file was created with the 1.5.0.0 application version.
To restore the application settings:
  1. If the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster application is not displayed, double-click the RICOHRICOH icon desktop icon to start it.
  2. In the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster dialog, select the SettingsSettings button button.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings dialog, select Logs, Backup and Restore.
  4. Select Browse and select the saved backup file.
  5. Select Open.
  6. In the Settings dialog, select Restore.
  7. If the restore is successful, you see a message that you must restart the application. Select OK.
  8. If the restore fails, you see an error message indicating why the process failed. To correct the problem, follow the instructions in the message.
  9. Close the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster, then start it again.
      Important:
    • The restore takes effect only after you restart the application.
