Updating the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster Version

Update the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster installed on a computer when a newer version of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster becomes available.

    Important:
  • The backup file of the settings is required when performing update. Create a backup before you perform update.

  1. Create a backup of Settings. For more information, see Creating a Backup of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster Settings.
  2. Download the installer from the manufacturer's web site, and save it on the computer to be connected to the machine.
  3. Log in to the computer using a user account with administrator privileges, and then close all applications.
  4. Execute the downloaded AutoColorAdjusterSetup_Verxxx.msi.
      Note:
    • XXX will vary depending on the date the file is released.
    The installation wizard is displayed.
  5. Click Next.RICOH AutoColorAdjuster Setup
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Install.
    The installation starts.
  8. When a screen asking whether to restart the computer is displayed, click Yes.
  9. If a confirmation screen for the file in use is displayed, specify Close the applications and attempt to restart them., and then click OK.
  10. When the installation is complete, click Completed.
  11. Click Yes on the screen asking whether to restart.
