Upgrading the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster

Upgrade the installed RICOH Auto Color Adjuster when a newer version of the application becomes available.
To upgrade the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster:
  1. Optional: Back up your application settings. For more information, see Backing Up the Application Settings.
      Note:
    • If the upgrade procedure fails, you can use this backup file to revert to your previous settings.
  2. Download the installer from the manufacturer website, and save it to the computer to be connected to the machine.
  3. Log in to the computer using a user account with administrator privileges.
  4. Run the downloaded AutoColorAdjusterSetup_Verxxxx.exe file.
      Note:
    • xxxx varies depending upon the release version of the application.
    The setup wizard is displayed.
  5. In the setup wizard, select Install.
  6. If prompted to allow this application to make changes to your device, select Yes.
    While the setup is in progress, a second setup wizard is displayed.
  7. In the second setup wizard, select Next.
  8. Select I accept the terms in the License Agreement, then select Next.
  9. Select Install.
    The installation starts.
  10. You receive a message that a reboot is required to complete the setup. To continue the upgrade process, select OK.
  11. When the installation is complete, select Finish.
    The second setup wizard closes.
  12. In the first setup wizard, you receive a message that you must restart your computer before using the application. To restart your computer now, select Restart.
  13. If you upgraded from the 1.3.1.0 version, activate the application license. For more information, see Activating the Application License.
  14. If you upgraded from other version except 1.3.1.0, apply the license to the application.
    1. To start the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster application, double-click the RICOH desktop icon (RICOH icon).
    2. In the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster dialog, select the Settings button (Settings button).
    3. In the left pane of the Settings dialog, select License Management.
    4. Select Apply.
      The application is licensed.
