Unregistering RICOH ProcessDirector from RICOH Predictive Insight

Describes how to unregister an active data transmitter from RICOH Predictive Insight to reclaim and reuse the associated license for a standalone RICOH ProcessDirector add-on.
To unregister RICOH ProcessDirector from RICOH Predictive Insight:
Note: For this procedure to be performed, the transmitter listed in the Software Connectors list must be operational.
  1. Locate the data transmitter in RICOH Predictive Insight.
    1. Log in to the RICOH Predictive Insight user interface.
    2. Go to Data Collectors ⇒ Software Connectors.

    3. Identify the transmitter listed in the Software Connectors list.
  2. Delete the transmitter in RICOH ProcessDirector.
    1. Log in to the RICOH ProcessDirector user interface.
    2. Go to Administration ⇒ Report ⇒ Data Transmitters.

    3. Locate and select the transmitter from the list.
    4. Select Delete to remove it.
    5. In the Delete RICOH Predictive Insight transmitters? select OK.
  3. Verify License Release in RICOH Predictive Insight.
    1. Go to RICOH Predictive Insight interface.
    2. Go to Data Collectors ⇒ Software Connectors.
    3. Confirm that the deleted transmitter is no longer visible in the list.
    4. Verify that the Available Licenses field updates to display.

  4. Install a new RICOH ProcessDirector and follow the normal register process.
