You can display the HTML User's Guide by clicking
and selecting Help from the menu.
The TotalFlow Optimizer product also includes several optional features:
- TotalFlow Optimizer Automation Feature
- The TotalFlow Optimizer Automation Feature lets you use automation for filters. From the Automation tab, in the filter properties dialog, you can set one of the available automation
options:
- Auto-Batch: The filter automatically creates a batch when the set target is reached.
- Auto-Batch-and-Send: The filter automatically creates a batch and sends it to an output destination when the set target is reached.
You can also configure schedules that control when the automation is active and the maximum number of batches.
If the license for the Automation Feature expires, any previously configured automation settings no longer apply and batches are no longer created automatically.
- TotalFlow Optimizer Unlimited Outputs Feature
- The TotalFlow Optimizer base product has a maximum number of 5 outputs available. With the TotalFlow Optimizer Unlimited Outputs Feature, you can create an unlimited number of outputs.
The Unlimited Outputs Feature is not available in the trial version of the product.
- TotalFlow Optimizer XML Output Feature
- The TotalFlow Optimizer XML Output Feature provides additional output types:
- PDF/PostScript and XML
- With this output type, TotalFlow Optimizer places a PDF/PostScript file and an XML file in the output hot folder for each job in the batch. If a custom XSL mapping file is not set, the XML output file contains the job settings in the TotalFlow Optimizer schema. If a custom XSL mapping file is set, the XML output file contains the job settings in the custom schema that results from applying the provided custom XSL mapping.
- PDF/PostScript and CSV
- With this output type, TotalFlow Optimizer places the PDF/PostScript file and the generated CSV file in the output hot folder for each job in the batch. The Sample XML file is a TotalFlow Optimizer internal XML file that is converted to a CSV file using the default XSL mapping file or a custom mapping file that you specify.
- TotalFlow MIME
- With this output type, TotalFlow Optimizer places a Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) package in the output hot folder for each job in the batch. The MIME package contains a Job Messaging Format (JMF) file, a JDF file, and the job file. TotalFlow Optimizer converts the job settings into the JDF file using the default XSL mapping file or a custom mapping file that you specify.
- PDF/PostScript and RPD List File
- With this output type, TotalFlow Optimizer creates a RICOH ProcessDirector list file in addition to the PDF/PostScript files for the jobs in the batch. The RICOH ProcessDirector list file is a text file containing the ordered list of file names from the batch.
- JMF over HTTP
- With this output type, TotalFlow Optimizer sends a MIME package to a virtual printer. A MIME package is sent through an HTTP protocol for each job in the output folder. The MIME package contains a JMF message, a JDF file, and a PDF job file. TotalFlow Optimizer converts the job settings into the JDF file using the default XSL mapping file or a custom mapping file that you specify.
- TotalFlow JMF over HTTP
- With this output type, TotalFlow Optimizer sends a MIME package to a virtual printer. A MIME package is sent through an HTTP protocol for each job in the output folder. The MIME package contains a JMF message, a JDF file, and a PDF job file. TotalFlow Optimizer converts the job settings into the JDF file through the Ricoh JTAPI library.
- TotalFlow Optimizer Preflight Feature
- The TotalFlow Optimizer Preflight Feature lets you integrate preflight capabilities into the TotalFlow Optimizer workflow. Using the Preflight Feature you can easily apply preflight profiles to incoming jobs.
