Connecting the Machine to the Computer

Connect the machine to the computer using the two provided USB cables.

    Important:
  • Do not use a USB cable other than the cable provided with the machine. Proper operation of the machine is guaranteed only when it is connected to your computer via the provided USB cable.
  • Do not use an USB extension cable or a hub.
  • Use the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/2.1 ports on the computer. You can also use two USB 3.0 ports, as the USB 3.0 port supports USB 2.0/2.1.

To connect the machine to the computer:

  1. Make sure that the power indicator on the machine is not lit.Power indicator
  2. If the power indicator is lit, turn off the machine using the power switch on the left side of the machine.On/Off switch
  3. Connect the USB cable to the USB A 3.0 interface on the left side of the machine.USB ports
  4. Connect the USB cable to the USB 3.0 port on the computer.
  5. Connect the USB cable to the USB A 2.0 interface on the left side of the machine.
  6. Connect the USB cable to a USB 2.0/2.1 or USB 3.0 port on the computer.
  7. Make sure that the power plug of the machine is securely inserted into the outlet.
  8. Turn on the machine using the power switch on the left side of the machine.On/Off switch
