Using the Installable Options

Configure the Installable Options depending on the capabilities of your printer. See the documentation of your printer for information on the device capabilities.

To configure the Installable Options:

  1. Select the options that are available for your printer.
    The Engine is selected by default, and it refers to the main component of a printer that performs the printing.
    Examples of installable options include: puncher, folding unit option, booklet finisher, or stapler.
  2. To save your changes, click OK.
    To change the capabilities of your printer, return to the Installable Options panel and select the desired options according to your needs.
