Editing Original Files

After a job is created, you can use TotalFlow Prep to edit the original pages and add text, images, or masks. You can also deskew, despeckle, reposition, and rotate objects or pages.

    You can modify settings for rulers, grid, and guides.

    You can align page content using auto or manual alignment functions.
  3. Removing Noise with Despeckle
    You can remove noise from pages using the Despeckle function. For example, you can remove unwanted dots or artifacts from scanned documents.
  4. Straightening Skewed Pages
    You can straighten skewed pages using the Deskew function.
  5. Rotating Pages
    You can rotate pages using Rotate page 180°, Rotate page 90° clockwise, or Rotate page 90° counterclockwise.
  6. Adding a Mask
    You can add a mask to a page to cover content.
  7. Editing a Mask
    You can edit a mask and modify its type, color, size, rotation, or position.
  8. Cutting, Copying, and Pasting a Mask
    You can cut, copy, and paste a mask. A mask that is copied to the system clipboard can be pasted on the current page or to multiple pages.
  9. Moving a Selected Area
    You can select and move an area of an image page.
  10. Cropping a Page
    You can crop an area on a single page or multiple pages using the Crop tool.
  11. Resizing a Page
    You can resize a single page or multiple pages using the Resize page tool.
  12. Adding Text
    You can add text to a page by inserting a text box.
  13. Editing Text
    You can edit text and change font, font size, text color, text orientation or apply bold and italics.
  14. Cutting, Copying, and Pasting Text
    After you add text to a page you can cut, copy, and paste it using the right-click menu.
  15. Adding an Image
    You can add JPEG, PNG, or TIFF images to a page. Other image file formats are not supported.
  16. Editing an Image
    You can edit an image and modify its size, rotation, position, or transparency.
  17. Cutting, Copying, and Pasting an Image
    You can cut or copy an image and paste it on the same page or to multiple pages by using the right-click menu.
  18. Pasting Images or Text from the System Clipboard
    You can paste images or text from the system clipboard into a job by using the Paste Special function.
  19. Changing Object Order
    You can change the order of multiple objects (text boxes, images, or masks) on a page by using the right-click menu options.
  20. Creating, Editing, and Applying Overlays
    You can create text, image, or mask overlays and reuse them in your jobs.
  21. Using Advanced Editing Features
    The advanced editing features include the Light Table and Mirror Light Table views and the Content detection function.
