The Operation Flow in Quick Color Adjustment

Scans a color chart, and generates a profile automatically. Register and use the created profile as the output profile (printer profile) on the DFE, and use the profile when printing a document. Use the function regularly to prevent the colors on the output sheets from being affected by changes in the condition of the machine or printing environment (color adjustment).

Also, you can determine if the printed colors are within the tolerance of the standard that you selected in Initial Settings after performing color adjustment or at regular intervals (evaluating the result).

    To display the Quick Color Adjustment screen, click Quick Color Adjustment on the computer.
  5. Color Chart Types
    In the Quick Color Adjustment section, use a color chart that is assigned individually to each combination of the printer and paper to perform color adjustment. When generating the chart, use the PDF that is registered to the DFE during the initial setting process of the machine.
  6. Precautions When Registering a Profile
    A profile is created automatically on the computer when you scan a color chart for creating a profile on the machine. To use the created profile, register it to a DFE (*1).
