Errors in the Scanned Result

If an error is displayed in the Scanned Result column after you scan the color chart for colorimetry, check the error code, and operate as required.

A system error occurred. Restart Windows.
02XX0004

(XX represents a hexadecimal number between 00–ff)

An unexpected problem occurred. Contact your service representative. Collect the device log as required.
02010007 The destination folder is deleted. In the Colorimetry Measurements dialog, select the correct folder in the File Location field.
02020008 A file with the same name exists in the destination folder.
  • Move or delete the corresponding file from the folder selected in the File Location field displayed in the Colorimetry Measurements dialog.
  • Enter the correct file name in the File Name field displayed in the Colorimetry Measurements dialog.
0402000C A scanner error occurred. Check the message and operate as required.

Fix the error. Then, restart the scanner and your operating system.

0403000C Failed to scan the chart. Scan the chart again. If the error persists, reprint the chart in the center of the paper, and then scan the reprinted chart.
00010006 The measurement result file is not output after you scan a custom chart.

This problem occurs because the ID of the scanned chart does not match the ID of the chart you select for scanning in the Colorimetry dialog.

Scan a chart whose chart ID matches the ID of the chart you select for scanning in the Colorimetry dialog.
020F0007 After you select the destination folder for saving the measurement file, the File Location field is blank again. Select the destination folder again. If the error persists, contact your service representative.
0403000D The scanned chart does not match the chart you select for scanning in the Colorimetry dialog. In the Colorimetry dialog, select a chart that matches the chart placed in the paper tray.
Colorimetry Timeout Error A paper jam or another problem occurred when scanning an original. Solve the problem on the scanner.
