When an Error Occurs in the Scanned Result

When an error is displayed in Scanned Result after scanning the color chart for colorimetry, check the error code, and operate as required.

A system error occurred. Restart Windows.
02XX0004

(XX represents a hexadecimal number between 00–ff)

An unexpected problem occurred. Contact your service representative. Collect the device log as required.
02010007 The destination folder is deleted. Specify the correct folder in Specify a destination folder to save. under Measurement and Saving Settings.
02020008 A file of the specified name already exists in the destination folder.
  • Move or delete the corresponding file from the folder specified in Specify a destination folder to save. under Measurement and Saving Settings.
  • Specify the correct file name in File Name under Measurement and Saving Settings. You cannot specify the name when more than 1 chart for colorimetry is specified. Names of (chart name)+(mmdd) are assigned to the files automatically.
0402000C An error occurred on the machine. Check the message and operate as required.

Restart the machine and Windows after the error is resolved on the machine.

0403000C Failed to scan the chart. Scan the chart again. If the error persists, reprint the chart in the center of the paper, and then scan the reprinted chart.
00010006 The measurement result file is not output after you scan a custom chart. This problem occurs because the ID of the scanned chart does not match the ID of the chart you select for scanning in the Colorimetry dialog. Scan a chart whose chart ID matches the ID of the chart you select for scanning in the Colorimetry dialog.
020F0007 After you select the destination folder for saving the measurement result file, the Specify a destination folder to save. field is blank again. Select the destination folder again. If the error persists, contact your service representative.
0403000D The scanned chart does not match the chart you select for scanning in the Colorimetry dialog. In the Colorimetry dialog, select a chart that matches the chart placed on the paper tray.
Colorimetry Timeout Error A paper jam or another problem occurred when scanning an original. Solve the problem on the machine.

Colorimetry File Creation Error
