Configuring an AIX secondary computer to mount a new spool directory

You can extend the /aiw file system by creating and mounting additional file systems on an AIX secondary computer.
To define a new file system and mount it in the spool directory on the AIX secondary computer:
  1. On the AIX secondary computer, log in as the root user.
  2. Configure the AIX secondary computer to use the exported directory by mounting it:
    1. Enter smitty fs on the command line.
      You see the File Systems window.
    2. Click Add / Change / Show / Delete File Systems.
    3. Click Network File System.
    4. Click Network File System again.
    5. Click Add a File System for Mounting.
    6. Type or select values in these fields. The bold entries in this example indicate a change that you must specify:
      PATHNAME of mount point	
      PATHNAME of remote directory
      HOST where remote directory resides
      Mount type NAME
      Security method
      MOUNT now, add entry to /etc/filesystems or both
      /etc/filesystems entry will mount the directory
          on system RESTART.
      MODE for this NFS file system
      ATTEMPT mount in foreground or background
      NUMBER of times to attempt mount
      Buffer SIZE for read
      Buffer SIZE for writes
      NFS TIMEOUT. In tenths of a second
      NFS version for this NFS filesystem
      Transport protocol to use
      Internet port NUMBER for server	
      Allow execution of SETUID and setgid programs
          in this file system?
      Allow DEVICE access via this mount?	
      Server supports long DEVICE NUMBERS?
      Mount file system soft or hard
      Minimum TIME, in seconds, for holding
          attribute cache after file modification
      Allow keyboard INTERRUPTS on hard mounts?
