Editing the Content of PDF Files

With PDF Editor, users with Job Manager access can edit PDF files. They can hide text, add comments, highlights, drawings, signatures, and more.

To use the PDF Editor you must have a RICOH TotalFlow Producer Advanced subscription and the PDF Editor add-on.

For content editing, use the tools on the PDF Editor menu bar:

    If you want to conceal content in documents, you can easily hide text or areas from the PDF file before printing.
  2. Selecting the Content to Reveal in PDF Files
    If you want to select the content to reveal in the documents before printing, the Reverse Mask function in PDF Editor lets you define a specific area to reveal while hiding the rest of the page.
  3. Inserting Objects in PDF Files
    You can insert a variety of objects in PDF files, such as: signatures, images, stamps, and drawings.
  4. Highlighting Text in a PDF File
    You can highlight, strike through, underline, or squiggly underline a text.
  5. Inserting Links in a PDF File
    With PDF Editor, you can insert links to a Web page or to another page of the same PDF.
  6. Adding Comments and Notes to a PDF File
    PDF Editor lets you add comments and notes in PDF files.
