Preflighting Jobs Manually

You can use the generic preflight profile or a custom profile to manually preflight jobs.

To manually preflight jobs, you must have a Preflight or Preflight Premium add-on subscription

To use custom profiles, you must have a Preflight or Preflight Premium add-on subscription and access to Enfocus PitStop Library.

To manually preflight jobs:
  1. On the RICOH TotalFlow Producer main page, click , the Preflight application icon on the right.
    The Preflight panel opens.

  2. Select one or more jobs from the table and drag and drop them onto the Drag and drop files here field.

    Another way to send jobs to Preflight is to right-click the selected jobs, click Send to Application, then select Preflight. Or, drag the selected jobs over the Preflight app bar icon and drop them unto the Drag and drop files here field.

  3. Click , thePreflight application icon on the right.
  4. To change the default profile, click IMPORT, then select a custom profile from a network location.
    Important: The custom profile file must have the .ppp extension.
  5. Click RUN.
All the selected jobs are processed through the new profile. To view the preflight summary of a job, hover over , thePreflight icon, in the Preflight column of the Jobs table.
To open the preflight report document, click View report.
