Preflighting Jobs Manually

You can use the generic preflight profile or a custom profile to manually preflight jobs.
Note: To manually preflight jobs, you must have a user with a Job Manager role.
To manually preflight jobs:
  1. On the RICOH TotalFlow Producer main page, click , the Preflight icon, on the right.

  2. Under PROFILE, click the down arrow to expand the list of available profiles and select the profile that you want to use.
    If you want to add a new profile, click IMPORT and select a custom profile from a network location. The custom profile file must have the .ppp extension.
    Note: You can also filter the list of profiles by typing any part of a profile name directly in the selection box.
  3. In the Jobs or the Orders table, select the jobs that you want to preflight, and then drag and drop them onto the Drag and drop files here field.

    You can also right-click the jobs and select Send to Application ⇒ Preflight from the menu.

  4. Click RUN.
All the selected jobs are processed through the specified profile. To view the preflight summary for a job, hover over , the Preflight icon, from the Preflight column.
To open the preflight report, click View report.
