Inserting Objects in PDF Files

You can insert a variety of objects in PDF files, such as: signatures, images, stamps, and drawings.
  1. Open the RICOH TotalFlow Producer Jobs table.
  2. Right-click a PDF job and select Edit PDF....
    The PDF Editor opens.
  3. Scroll through the PDF down to the page where you want to insert the object.
  4. To insert a signature:
    1. Click , the Add Signature icon.
    2. Select the type of signature to add:
      • To apply a handwritten signature, select Draw, then use the mouse to draw your signature.
      • To upload an image of a signature, select Image, then upload a saved image.
      • To type the signature, click Type, select from the available fonts and colors, and type a signature.
  5. To insert an image from a local or shared drive:
    1. Click , the Add Media icon, then select Image.
    2. Select the image that you want to apply.
    3. Drag the rectangle shape tool to adjust the image and apply it in the right place.
  6. To insert a stamp:
    1. Click the down arrow next to , the Add Media icon, then select Stamp.
    2. Select one of the existing stamp designs.
    3. To design your own stamp, click Custom Stamp.
    4. Choose the stamp text and color, then click Create Stamp.
    5. Drag the rectangle shape tool to adjust the size of the stamp and apply it in the right place.
  7. To insert a drawing:
    1. Click , the Drawing icon.
      A new options bar is displayed below the main toolbar.
    2. To define the drawing properties, select from the available options:
      • Color
      • Fill Color
      • Opacity
      • Thickness
      • Blend Mode
    3. Use the mouse to apply the drawing.
    4. To erase the drawing, click the down arrow next to , the Drawing icon, then select Eraser.
  8. To insert a shape:
    1. Click , the Add Shape icon.
    2. Select one of the available shapes, such as line, arrow, rectangle, cloud, etc.
      A new options bar is displayed below the main toolbar.
    3. Select all the options necessary to define the shape properties, such as: color, thickness, or line style.
    4. Use the mouse to apply the shape on the PDF page.
    5. To delete a shape, click the shape to select it, then click , the Recycle Bin icon on the right end of the options bar.
