Highlighting Text in a PDF File

You can highlight, strike through, underline, or squiggly underline a text.
To highlight text in a PDF file, you can use either the highlighting tool or the annotations menu.
  1. Open the RICOH TotalFlow ProducerJobs table.
  2. Right-click the job and select Edit PDF...
    PDF Editor opens.
  3. To use the highlighting tool:
    1. Click the down arrow next to , the Drawing icon, then select Freeform Highlight or Text Highlighter.
      A new options bar is displayed below the main toolbar.
    2. Select from the available highlighter options:
      • Color
      • Fill Color
      • Opacity
      • Thickness
      • Blend Mode
    3. Use the mouse to apply the highlighter.
    4. To erase the drawing, click the down arrow next to , the Drawing icon, then select Eraser. Use your mouse to erase the highlighter.
  4. To use the annotations menu:
    1. Select the text you want to highlight.
      A menu is displayed with options to highlight, strike through, underline, squiggly underline, or redact: .
  5. To highlight the selected text, click a symbol on the options bar.
  6. To open the highlight options click the highlighted text.
    A new options bar is displayed below the main toolbar.
  7. Select from the available highlighter options:
    • Color
    • Opacity
    • Blend Mode
  8. To delete the annotation, click , the Recycle Bin icon on the right end of the options bar.
