Configuration of Required Devices

Use a computer connected to the scanner via USB to operate the scanner, import a profile to the DFE, and access the web interface. Optionally, you can also use a network computer connected to the scanner to access the web interface.
Network environment required for using the scanner

1 Scanner
2 A computer connected to the scanner via 2 USB cables provided with the scanner. Use the computer to access the Quick Color Adjustment, Color Sample Matching, and Colorimetry functions, and the Management Console page.
3 A printer and its DFE: Fiery color controller, TotalFlow Print Server, or another printer controlling device.
4 Optional: a network computer

To check the color change over time and to manage the colors of the printer, use the Management Console page.
