Troubleshooting (Management Console)

This section describes how to solve a problem when Management Console cannot be operated properly.

Status Cause Solution and reference
The 404 error occurs, and the Management Console page does not appear when you enter the IP address in a web browser. The IP address and/or port number that you entered is incorrect. Enter the correct IP address and port number. Make sure to enter a colon (:) between the IP address and port number.

You can check the IP address and port number in Auto Color Adjuster Server Settings under the Settings dialog that is displayed when you select the Settings button (Settings button) on the application dialog. When using a client computer, consult your administrator for the correct IP address and port number.

Old data remains in the cache of the web browser. On the Management Console page, press the F5 key while pressing the Shift key. The cache of the web browser is cleared, and the page is reloaded.
When you are operating more than one machine, you cannot access the server from a client computer.
  • Check that the computer is connected to the network.
  • Restart Windows on the computer and server.
    Note:
  • If the error persists, contact your service representative.
The 404 error occurs, and the Management Console page does not appear when you select Management Console on the Initial Settings page. Old data remains in the cache of the web browser, or the service on the server is malfunctioning.
  • On the Management Console page, press the F5 key while pressing the Shift key. The cache of the web browser is cleared, and the page is reloaded.
  • Restart Windows. When you are using a client computer, restart Windows on the server also.
    Note:
  • If the error persists, contact your service representative.
The Management Console page is not displayed completely, and no operation is possible. Old data remains in the cache of the web browser, or a malfunction occurred in the database.
  • On the Management Console page, press the F5 key while pressing the Shift key. The cache of the web browser is cleared, and the page is reloaded.
  • Restart Windows. When you are using a client computer, restart Windows on the server also.
    Note:
  • If the error persists, contact your service representative.
A graph is not displayed on the Management Console page. An incorrect chart was specified. Check that the correct color chart is printed. Use the following procedure to check the correct number of the color chart:
  1. On the Initial Settings page, specify a combination of Machine Name and Paper Name, then select Details.
  2. Check Color Verification ID.

There is an inconsistency in the specified data.
  • Check that the following folder is not shared:

    C:\RicohAutoColorAdjuster\DB

  • Restart Windows. When you are using a client computer, restart Windows on the server also.
