Color Adjustment Overview

Use the Quick Color Adjustment function to adjust colors on a printer and verify the result.

To adjust colors:

  1. Add a color chart for the printer and paper type that you are going to use. A Profiling Chart ID is assigned to the color chart. For details, see Color Charts.
  2. Use the target printer to print the color chart PDF with the assigned Profiling Chart ID on the target paper type.Printing the color chart
  3. Use the scanner to scan the printed color chart for creating an ICC profile.Scanning the printed color chart
  4. An ICC profile is created. Import the ICC profile to the DFE. For the supported DFE types, the ICC profile might be automatically imported to the DFE.
