Collecting Color Sample Matching Logs

If you cannot reduce the color difference in Color Sample Matching, the service representative might request the log files. If so, collect the log files from the server computer, then send them by email.

To collect Color Sample Matching logs:

  1. Find the Color Sample Matching log files on the server computer. For details about the location where the log files are stored, see Location of Log Files.
      Note:
    • The files for each color sample matching job are stored in a separate folder. Each folder name is based on a date and time template. The date and time in your folder name matches the date and time in the name of the log file that you must collect.
  2. Send the log files to your service representative by email.
