Creating the Self-Signed Server Certificate for RICOH Auto Color Adjuster
Add an SSL certificate to strengthen the web access security and encrypt the communication
between server and browser clients.
- Note:
- In this section, a self-signed certificate is created and used. To use an official certificate, follow the procedure for installing the certificate provided in the user documentation of the Apache Tomcat web server. For more information, see the Apache Tomcat 10.1.xx documentation: Apache Tomcat 10.1.xx documentation (https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-10.1-doc/index.html).
- If the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster application is not displayed, double-click the RICOH
desktop icon to start it.
- In the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster dialog, select the Settings
button.
- Select , then select OK when the confirmation dialog is displayed.
- Enter a password using from 8 to 64 single-byte alphanumeric characters, then select OK.
- Select OK.A self-signed certificate has been installed to the server.
