Creating the Self-Signed SSL Certificate for RICOH Auto Color Adjuster

Add a self-signed SSL certificate to strengthen the web access security and encrypt the communication between server and browser clients.

    Note:
  • The RICOH Auto Color Adjuster supports only self-signed SSL certificates.
  • Make sure your network configuration does not expose the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster Web Server address and ports to the internet.

To create the self-signed SSL certificate for RICOH Auto Color Adjuster:

  1. If the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster application is not displayed, double-click the RICOHRICOH icon desktop icon to start it.
  2. In the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster dialog, select the SettingsSettings button button.
  3. Select Server Settings ⇒ Create, then select OK when the confirmation dialog is displayed.
  4. Enter a password using from 8 to 64 single-byte alphanumeric characters, then select OK.
  5. Select OK.
    A self-signed SSL certificate has been installed on the server.
