Usage Guidelines
If InfoPrint Manager fails to establish SNMP contact with an output device, it uses the ping command to test whether it is possible to communicate with the device in other ways. If the ping command succeeds, InfoPrint Manager concludes that the device is not an SNMP device and resets this attribute to false.
Set the use-snmp attribute to false if you do not want to monitor a pull print printer with SNMP.
