Before you create a DPF host receiver
When you create a DPF host receiver, you have to specify which InfoPrint Manager actual destination the host receiver will send jobs to. If you have not already created the actual destinations you need, see Creating actual destinations.
- Note:
- You must use the PSF DSS with DPF.
- If you have interoperating InfoPrint Manager servers, the actual destination that the host receiver submits jobs to and the logical destination that the actual destination is associated with must reside on the same server.
- If you currently use DPF in PSF for OS/2, see the RICOH InfoPrint Manager for Windows: Planning Guide for instructions on collecting the information from your OS/2 system. You can use the printer and spool information that you collect to configure your InfoPrint Manager actual destination.
