tapp.cfg file
The
tapp.cfg file contains various internal parameters for the Transform Server.On AIX and Linux operating systems, the tapp.cfg file is located at /opt/infoprint/itm/hn/cfg/tapp.cfg.
On Windows operating systems, the tapp.cfg file is located at install_dir\itm\hn\cfg\tapp.cfg.
Updating fields in the tapp.cfg file
You can update these files in the tapp.cfg file:
- max-proc-time
- You use this field to specify the processing time limit for a work unit, in seconds. You should increase the value of this field for jobs that need longer processing times.
- file_buffer_size_limit
- You use this field to specify the maximum percentage of spare memory that can be used to store the input file. You should decrease this number for very large jobs, so that the input file can be stored temporarily on the disk.
- Note:
- The max-proc-time and the file_buffer_size_limit fields are the only fields that you can update in the
tapp.cfgfile. Do not modify any other fields in this configuration file unless you are told to make changes by Ricoh support.
