Downloading security updates

Security updates for certain components of RICOH ProcessDirector are available for download on the Ricoh Software website. You can download and install these updates to address security concerns without installing the entire product.
    Note:
  • This procedure assumes that you are not using the primary computer to access the website and download the update packages.

    If you download the files directly to the primary computer, download them to a temporary location such as:

    • /aiw/aiw1/tmp

  • If you need to update the version of Java installed with DB2, contact Ricoh support for an update package. That package is not available for download using the procedure below. Tell the support representative the versions of RICOH ProcessDirectorand DB2 you use, so they can provide the correct update package.

    After you have the package, continue with: Updating the Java version for IBM DB2

To download the update packages:
  1. In a web browser, open: https://dl.ricohsoftware.com/
  2. Click Software Downloads, enter your Entitlement ID, and click Submit.
  3. Click View Related Files on the right side of the page.
  4. Go to the security update packages and click the title of each package that you want to download.
  5. Record the MD5 checksum for each update package you are downloading to compare it later with the MD5 checksum you generate for the downloaded package.
  6. Continue with the installation of the update packages.
