Downloading and installing security updates

Starting in late 2025, RICOH ProcessDirector provides monthly security updates as needed for selected components.
If the companies or distributors provide updates to address security vulnerabilities, RICOH ProcessDirector releases updates for these components:
  • Apache Tomcat
  • Java Runtime Environment

    Note: IBM DB2 includes a separate version of the Java Runtime Environment. If you need to update that package, contact Ricoh support for an update package. You cannot use the same Java update package for both the RICOH ProcessDirector and the DB2 versions of Java.

  • IBM DB2
  • PostgreSQL
Update packages are created after the component owner has released security fixes. If there are no releases for an update in a given month, no security package is provided.
Important: You can only use the security update packages for IBM DB2 and PostgreSQL to update databases installed during the RICOH ProcessDirector installation process using installers provided by Ricoh ("internal" databases). If you install and manage your databases separately ("external" or "remote" databases), you must download and install updates directly from the publisher.

    Keep your system secure and compatible by updating to the latest supported Java version for the IBM DB2 database. This ensures you have the newest features, performance improvements, and security fixes.
  5. Updating the IBM DB2 database
    Keep your system secure and compatible by updating to the latest supported IBM DB2 version. This ensures you have the newest features, performance improvements, and security fixes.
  6. Updating the PostgreSQL database
    Keep your system secure and compatible by updating to the latest supported PostgreSQL version. This ensures you have the newest features, performance improvements, and security fixes.
