Setup Steps
Set up TotalFlow Production Manager in this order:
Step 1 | Check the operation environment. | Computer Requirements |
Step 2 | If you are installing a patch, back up your data. | Backing up Data |

Step 3 | Install TotalFlow Production Manager. | Installing TotalFlow Production Manager |
Step 4 | If you will use the LPD protocol to submit jobs to TotalFlow Production Manager, disable any other LPD server on the system where you installed TotalFlow Production Manager. | Disabling the LPD Server |
Step 5 | If you will use the LPD protocol to submit jobs, install the LPR client. | Installing the LPR Client |
Step 6 | If you will use FTP to submit jobs to TotalFlow Production Manager, install and configure the FTP server. | Follow the instructions in the Set Up FTP in IIS 7topic in the Microsoft TechNet Library at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc771012(v=ws.10).aspx

Step 8 | Install the permanent license. You can do this now or at any time until the trial license expires. | Installing the Permanent License |
