Configuration of Required Devices

Use a computer connected to the scanner via USB to operate the scanner, access the web application, and import an ICC profile to the DFE. Optionally, you can also use a network computer connected to the scanner to access the web application.
Network environment required for using the scanner

1 Scanner
2 A computer connected to the scanner via 2 USB cables provided with the scanner. Use the computer to access the Quick Color Adjustment, Color Sample Matching, and Colorimetry functions from the desktop application, and the Management Console and Configuration pages from the web application.
3 A printer with its DFE, such as a Fiery color controller, TotalFlow Print Server, or another printer controlling device.
4 Optional: a network computer for remotely accessing the Management Console and the Configuration pages from the web application.
