When the Machine Cannot Be Operated

Status Cause Solution and reference
The power of the machine cannot be turned on. The power cable of the machine is not plugged into a wall outlet. Plug the power cable into the wall outlet.
An extension cord is used. Do not use an extension cord.

Region A (mainly Europe)

Plug the power cable directly into a wall outlet that supplies electricity of 220–240 V, 1 A or higher at 50 or 60 Hz.

Region B (mainly North America)

Plug the power cable directly into a wall outlet that supplies electricity of 120–127 V, 1.2 A or higher at 60 Hz.

The power cable is not plugged into the machine. Make sure that the power cable that is supplied with the machine is securely plugged into the receptacle for the power cable on the machine.
There is a problem with the wall outlet. Plug the power cable into another wall outlet that you have checked for power by plugging in other electrical products.

If the machine still does not start, contact your service representative.

The indicator is lit in red. A problem is occurring on the machine. Check the message that is displayed on the computer, and then solve the problem accordingly.
