Applying InfoPrint Manager Service

Since the InfoPrint Manager install process puts files locally in /usr/lpp/pd/bin on the Linux node and not on the shared filesystems that move from one node to another, updates have to be done on each node, but only one node at a time. To apply service updates on a clustered InfoPrint Manager system:

• Install the service update on each standby node.
• Failover the active node to the standby nodes, which will start InfoPrint Manager on the new service update level of code.
• Install the service update on the former active nodes.
