User exits and input print file attributes

During ACIF processing, you can use a user exit to run a user-written program and then, after the user-written program ends, return control of processing to ACIF. ACIF provides data at each exit that can serve as input to the user-written program.

This chapter contains programming interface information and describes the four user programming exits provided with ACIF. It also describes the information ACIF provides to the exits about the input print file attributes. Hereafter, AIX refers to both AIX and Linux operating systems.
