Configuring a trace for a transform server

The Properties Page for Transform Server Trace page lets you enable or disable tracing for the specified transform server. You only use this page when Software Support asks you to run a trace to help diagnose a problem.
To configure a trace:
  1. Click the hyperlink for the specific transform server that you want to trace on the InfoPrint Manager Transform Feature main page.
    You see the Properties Page for Transform Server: n.nn.nnn.nnn, where n.nn.nnn.nnn is the TCP/IP address for the transform server you selected.

    Properties are grouped on three tabs: General, Status, and Trace. You can view all of the properties at once by clicking Show all tabs in the left pane.

    Click ? next to each entry field for information about it.

  2. Click Trace to open the Trace page for the selected server.
  3. On the Trace page, select Enabled or Disabled from the Tracing list.
    Enabled activates tracing, and Disabled deactivates tracing. The default is Enabled.
  4. If tracing is Enabled, you can:
    • Check one or more of the choices in the Trace Settings list box.
    • Enter a custom trace setting as directed by Software Support.
  5. Click OK.
