You can enter one of these fixed values:

  • pcl4
  • pcl5
  • pcl5c
  • pcl6
  • ppds
  • ipds
    Note: ipds is not an allowed value for command-attached and other-driver attached printers.
  • afpds
    Note: afpds can only be used with the Upload TCP/IP attachment type.

Usage Guidelines

For AIX, CUPS, and PSF-Other DSS actual destinations, you must have the correct driver for the data stream format you want to output to the printer device.
