Understanding InfoPrint Manager for Linux features

These features are currently only available in InfoPrint Manager for Linux:

• Support for printers that use CUPS printer backend programs (InfoPrint Manager pioinfo backend , InfoPrint Manager piorpdm backend for Ricoh printers, socket, ipp, lpd, and other CUPS backends).
• PSF Upload TCP/IP
• InfoPrint Manager Management interface for performing tasks not supported by the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI, including security administration

If you require the features currently only available on InfoPrint Manager for Linux, but prefer the AIX or Windows platform, consider a mixed environment of AIX systems, Linux systems, and Windows systems. In many cases, a mixed environment provides you with immediate access to all InfoPrint Manager features.
