Recommended setting for error logs

The settings for the InfoPrint Manager servererror.log are specified in /usr/lpp/pd/bin/spl_error.cfg. Copy the spl_error.cfg file into the /var/pd/servername directory if you want to customize the error log only for servername or into the /var/pd/ directory if you want to customize the error log for all InfoPrint Manager servers.

The default setting of debug is recommended. The debug setting captures error, warning, audit, and debug messages. For more information about the different error log settings, see the “Log attributes” section in the “InfoPrint object attributes” chapter in RICOH InfoPrint Manager: Reference.
