Designates which users InfoPrint notifies of specific events related to this server, and how InfoPrint notifies them.

For example:

You can omit any of these values.

Components

  • event-identifiers

    Specifies the events for which the person receives messages.

    • Type

      Multi-valued

    • Allowed Values

      You can enter any of the values listed for the events-supported attribute.

    • Default Value

      internal-server-error, object-cleaned, object-deleted, server-shutdown-complete, sapcbd-down, low-on-memory, memory-exhausted, out-of-disk-space, out-of-dpf-haids, out-of-dpf-raids, out-of-dpf-job-numbers

  • delivery-address

    Specifies the address of the person who receives event messages concerning this server or the directory location and file name where InfoPrint stores messages.

    • Type

      Single-valued

    • Allowed Values

      You can enter a text string that contains the user name and node (optional) of the person that receives the information or the path to the directory and file name.

    • Default Value

      The login ID of the user who created this server.

    • Usage Guidelines

      You must specify a value for delivery-address if you specify a value of file, file-add-to, exit, or wireless for the delivery-method component.

  • delivery-method

    Specifies how the user receives the event messages.

    • Type

      Single-valued

    • Allowed Values

      You can enter one of these fixed values:

    • Default Value

    • Usage Guidelines

      If you specify a value of file, file-add-to, exit, or wireless for this component, you must specify a value for the delivery-address component.

  • event-comment

    Provides information that InfoPrint prepends to the event message.

    • Type

      Single-valued

    • Allowed Values

      You can enter a text string up to 4095 characters long that contains the comment.

    • Default Value

      No default value

  • locale

    Defines the language and code page of notification messages.

    • Type

      Single-valued

    • Allowed Values

      You can enter any locale for which the InfoPrint messages in the corresponding language are installed.

    • Default Value

      The locale of the person who created this server.
