DFE printer
Create a DFE actual destination to represent a DFE print server driving a Ricoh printer.
Before creating a DFE printer, complete this worksheet.

Wizard prompt | Description | Value |

Name | The name for the actual destination object (64-character limit).

TCP/IP address | The IP address used to access the DFE print server. | |
User | The user name that the DFE DSS actual destination will use to connect to the Digital Front End (DFE) server, such as a Fiery DFE. | |
Password | The user name that the DFE DSS actual destination will use to connect to the Digital Front End (DFE) server, such as a Fiery DFE. |
To create this type of printer, use the Create Printer Wizard in the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI. (On the menu bar, click Printer → Create → DFE.)

If you did not enable the printer with the Create Printer Wizard, use the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI to enable it.
