startlpd utility: starts the InfoPrint Manager LPD daemon

Syntax

startlpd

Description

Use the startlpd utility to start the InfoPrint Manager LPD gateway daemon. The LPD gateway daemon will start on port 515, so make sure that the port is available by closing or disabling any other LPD daemon such as CUPS LPD. If port 515 is not available, the InfoPrint Manager LPD daemon will not start.

Note: Only available on the Linux platform.
